Parish Church of Lustosa

In this church, which is located exactly in the parish where Dalmática has its headquarters, we carried out the conservation and restoration of the entire integrated heritage: main altarpiece, five side altarpieces, sculptures, ceiling of the presbytery and mural painting. Always keeping an eye on the preservation of all the elements that help to write the history of the building and its art, by removing the side altarpieces, we uncovered mural paintings unknown until now, which we recorded, studied and conserved. In this same perspective, we detected that the left side altarpiece was, in fact, a set of carvings, mostly from two altarpieces from different times. In this case, we separated the elements and returned to the parish the two altarpieces that today reflect their original composition. Watch here the trailer of the documentary that we directed about the work.
