Parish Church of Idães

In this portfolio we present only a few generic images of the conservation work carried out in the chancel, a beautiful ensemble that reflects the splendor of the Baroque that abounds in the churches of Northern Portugal. In our workshops, the altarpiece and the ceiling were subjected to a deep conservative treatment, which included structural reinforcement and lifting of the repaintings that disturbed their reading. The authentic set was returned to the parish, respecting the origin of the pieces and their longevity. Watch here the trailer of the documentary that we directed about the work.
